Sound Healing

Step into the ethereal realm of sound healing as I introduce you to the transformative experience of Himalayan singing bowls. Nestled within the sanctuary of our studio, our sound healing sessions provide a unique and harmonious journey for the mind, body, and spirit.My intention is to create a space that will envelope you in a soothing atmosphere created by the resonant tones of Himalayan singing bowls. Crafted from a blend of seven metals, these bowls produce rich, layered vibrations that have been used for centuries to promote healing and relaxation.

 

I will guide you through a session designed to induce a state of deep relaxation. Find a comfortable position on your mat, close your eyes, and allow the gentle vibrations of the singing bowls to wash over you. The immersive soundscape created by these ancient instruments will resonate through your body, creating a sense of balance and tranquility.

 

The melodic resonance of the bowls creates a meditative space, allowing you to let go of thoughts, worries, and distractions, and simply be present in the moment.

What to expect:

During the session, you may feel the vibrations of the singing bowls on a physical level, as the sound waves penetrate deep into your tissues. This not only promotes relaxation but also helps release tension and blockages, restoring the natural flow of energy throughout your body.

 

Himalayan singing bowls are known for their ability to harmonize the body's energy centers, or chakras.

The tones emitted by the bowls correspond to different chakras, creating a harmonious balance within. As the vibrations align with your energy centers, you may experience a profound sense of inner peace and connection. Incorporating sound healing into your wellness routine offers a myriad of benefits, including stress reduction, improved sleep, and enhanced overall well-being.

As you leave the sound healing session, you'll carry with you a renewed sense of calm and clarity. Whether you're new to sound healing or a seasoned practitioner, our Himalayan singing bowl sessions provide a unique and rejuvenating experience that complements the holistic approach of our yoga classes. What to expect:

 

Expect to lie down in a comfortable space preferable on the ground on a yoga mat, but a bed will also be suitable if preferred.  I will need to have enough space round you to place the bowls. You can lie either belly down or belly up, which ever you prefer. The object is to be as comfortable as possible. If you choose, the usage of an eye mask can be used to help induce a sense of calmness and detach your mind from the rest of the world.  A thin blanket and pillow can also be used to help keep your body warm and comfortable and induce a sense of safety and security.

I will place the sound bowls around and quite close to your body so that you can feel the vibrations. I may ask to place a bowl directly on your body.

Please let me know if you have any of the following conditions:

Health issues triggered by sound (e.g. migraines, seizures, ear ringing, panic attacks)

Physical limitations

Pregnancy

Sensitivity to smells like incense or scented candles

Sensitivity to physical touch from others

Sensitivity to eye covers

Post Session Expectations:

You may find that your bowels are more active than normal

You may have inexplicable emotional responses, like crying or laughing for no reason

You may experience moments of feeling like you are in a trance

Drink plenty of water

Get a good nights rest
